Hey fellow nature lovers and tree enthusiasts!

I’m excited to share a project I’ve been working on — Trees of Washington, a brand new website dedicated to cataloging and celebrating the beautiful and diverse trees that grow across Washington state.

Whether you're into arboriculture, native species, landscaping, or just love Pacific Northwest nature, the site features:

  • 🌳 High-quality photos of native trees
  • 📏 Growth habits, leaf shapes, wood density, and more
  • 📚 Educational info about trees in our forests and backyards
  • 🌿 Useful for students, landscapers, arborists, and educators

We’re just getting started, and I’d love feedback from the community! Also open to tree ID questions or collaboration ideas.

Check it out here: https://www.treesofwashington.com
Let me know what you think — and if you love it, feel free to share!

🌳 Curious what trees grow naturally in YOUR Washington town?

I recently built this page to catalog native and commonly found trees by city across Washington State:
👉 WA Trees by City

Whether you're in Spokane, Olympia, or a small town like Enumclaw, it's a useful reference for tree ID and native species awareness. Would love your feedback or suggestions for cities to expand!
